As promised, dog park videos. I've realized I'm really just posting these for the handful of people out there who miss Edison and just might think it's fun to see him in action - these videos are certainly nothing exciting. Dogs are a lot like kids - as soon as you point the camera at them, they stop doing the cute/funny things they were doing before. Ah well. Enjoy.

That's awesome. It's gotta be so great to have a place to go. Something tells me that Utah lacks a lot of dog parks. Is that right?

I have to tell you, I didn't expect that the dogs would be so friendly with each other. I figured there would be a dogpile or two going on at these places, but everyone looks to be well-behaved.

Nice find.

Haha - dogpiles certainly exist. But it's all in good fun, and when they have room to run and escape, there is never any scariness that they're going to hurt each other. I'm mostly proud of myself - once upon a time, I would have been scared to death to be surrounded by so many leashless dogs. Now I love it.

And no - there really aren't many great dog parks in Utah. And the ones that do exist are very overused, so they're a big yucky mess. Do a DNews archive search for "Smeath Taylorsville dog park" or something like that. :)
